Widely advertised as being open everyday but Wednesday so cycled across arranging to meet the rest of the family to find no sign of life at lunchtime. Fortunately there is a great cafe on A77 half a mile further north!
I truly lovely place for lunch. Fab for a wee treat and to feel pampered. Service top class, food well priced and generous in servings. Myself and my husband really enjoyed lunch here
Lovely restaurant. The cakes are excellent and tbe staff so helpful and kind. The gift shop has some really lively items fir sale.
Terrific cafe-restaurant. Great food and great staff. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Food is clean and well presented, as are the staff. Attached to a shop which has horrifyingly high prices for wares; I think they've copied the price list of a London boutique. Restaurant highly recommended.
We stopped here today as it's been a while since we have been there. It's bigger and brighter but could do better. My husband had scampi and chips which he said was okay. I had steak pie,chips and veg. The steak pie was nice but with very little gravy,the veg was tasty and fresh and the chips were large and dry. Once you are served the waiting staff tend to leave you alone and not ask if you need anything. I had to go up and ask for gravy. We noticed that they're not quick at removing plates when you are finished. I had once again to go to them to ask for dessert and coffee. The dessert was a pear and toffee pavlova...looked lovely but a tad too sweet for me...toffee would have been better runnier. All in all...could do better.
