Merchant House is like 'home from home' to us. On our third visit this year there was the same friendly welcome, lovely home made afternoon tea and comfortable surroundings. Lynn and Keith are great hosts and ensure all needs are met. Sorry to leave !

Back home to Belfast after a fantastic few days away big shout out to Lynn and Keith from the Merchant House were we stayed my sister and i had the Garden Room which was absolutely beautiful most comfortable bed very clean lovely walk in shower wot more could u ask for breakfast was by far the best especially Lynn's homemade bread which u could die for have to give special mention to Keith as he was a very good host at doin the serving of breakfast and kept us entertained lol this was our 1st visit here and pretty sure it wont be our last we hope to see u both soon and also ur pretty wee dogs loved seeing them aswell xx

We were walking the Ayrshire Coastal Path and this was our end of day one so we were pretty exhausted after 23 miles! But we reach the Merchant House in Girvan and couldn't asked for a better welcome. The owners greeted us with DELICIOUS home baked pastries, biscuits and cake as well as hot tea and coffee. The rooms were spectacular, very large with a comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing thanks to the home made jams and bread! The hospitality was wonderful!

Received a very warm welcome, as well as a greatly appreciated afternoon tea. Lynns home made cooking is wonderful! Lynn & Keith are friendly, hospitable and very generous.
